Step-by-step

1. Create a workspace on the free sandbox plan.
2. Create one database in the dashboard and choose a protocol.
3. Validate read/write with your existing client library.
4. Add an internal automation that only performs idempotent operations.
5. Track request and storage growth before upgrading the plan.

Suggested first automation

Start with one bounded task such as writing cache-like materialized values or short-lived session state. Avoid broad delete/update flows until scoped machine credentials and policy controls are enabled in your account.
